Merci - Embroidered linen napkin

For Christmas, Merci has curated a distinctive selection of gifts to give or enjoy yourself: home accessories, household linens, fashion, games and tech to place under the tree.

An eyelet embroidery border outlines this linen and cotton collection. Its openwork floral motifs and scalloped edge evoke the delicacy of vintage linens, while the gathers add dimension. A satin stitch border, centered on each design, provides structure to the pattern, while a small “M” embroidered in red punctuates the whole, like a familiar signature. Pair with solid-color pieces to highlight the embroidery, or mix and match with other ruffles from the collection.

A gathered eyelet embroidery ruffle features openwork floral motifs and a scalloped edge.

A satin stitch border structures the design.

A small “M” embroidered in red is located in the upper left corner.

This piece measures 45 x 45 cm.

This piece is made of 55% linen and 45% cotton.

Composition: 55% linen, 45% cotton

Wash at 40°C

To soften the fibres of your linen, feel free to use fabric softener.

We strongly recommend washing your item separately the first time.

Nothing beats air-drying your washed linen.

If you prefer a tumble dryer, choose a moderate temperature and remove the linen while still damp to help soften the fibres.

A light ironing will help relax the linen fibres.

For easier ironing, press your linen while it is still damp. Iron on the reverse to avoid marks.

With this linen and cotton collection, Merci revisits the details of traditional white household linen and brings them into today's home. A simple ruffle, a broderie anglaise border or two layered ruffles: three finishes that add texture and dimension to the fabric. Mix them with stripes, bold colours or the linen you already own, without feeling the need to match everything.
