For Christmas, Merci has curated a distinctive selection of gifts to give or enjoy yourself: home accessories, household linens, fashion, games and tech to place under the tree.

These taper candles, known as Bougies de la Madeleine, once lit the Madeleine church in Paris.

Made in workshops in Normandy.

Colored throughout and made from highly purified wax, they do not drip and produce a steady, smokeless flame.

Dimensions: height 200 mm, diameter 22 mm.

Burn time: 7 hours.

Care: preferably use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame and trim a small section of the wick after each use.
